Do you work with students who have IEPs, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or learning disabilities?
Yes. Alexandria has extensive experience in Exceptional Student Education and supports students with a wide range of learning needs.
Where is Eventful Learning Center located in Sunrise?
We are located at 8360 W. Oakland Park Blvd in Suite 200C. It is found easily just west of University Blvd on the South Side of Oakland Park Blvd. We serve families from Sunrise and nearby Broward communities, including Plantation, Tamarac, and Davie.
Do you offer reading and math tutoring?
Yes. We provide small group and one-to-one tutoring in both reading and math.
How large are the small groups?
Small groups include up to four students and are organized by skill level and learning needs rather than grade alone.
How do you decide between small group and one-to-one tutoring?
The recommendation is based on the student’s assessment results, learning needs, attention, level of support needed, and current availability.
Are assessments really free?
Yes. New students may receive a free in-person reading or math assessment to identify strengths, skill gaps, and the best starting point for instruction. There is no obligation to enroll in tutoring.
What happens after the assessment?
Families receive a summary of the child’s strengths, areas of need, and recommended instructional priorities. If tutoring is appropriate, the results are used to create a personalized learning plan.
What grades do you serve for reading and math tutoring?
Eventful Learning Center provides reading and math support for students in kindergarten through third grade.
Do you provide homework help?
Tutoring is focused on building foundational reading and math skills. Homework may be addressed when appropriate, but sessions are not designed as general homework completion.
How often should my child attend tutoring?
Frequency depends on the student’s needs, goals, and availability. Recommendations are discussed after the assessment.
Is tutoring in person?
Yes. Tutoring and assessments are provided in person at Eventful Learning Center in Sunrise.
