About us

Meet Alexandria Carlo, M.Ed.

I’m the owner of Eventful Learning Center and an experienced Elementary and ESE educator with more than 25 years in education. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Specific Learning Disabilities and a master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education.

I created Eventful Learning Center to provide structured, supportive academic instruction for K–3 students in a welcoming environment where children can build strong reading and math foundations.

My Experience & Qualifications

I bring more than 25 years of experience in elementary education and Exceptional Student Education (ESE). I hold a bachelor’s degree in Specific Learning Disabilities and a master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students with a wide range of learning needs, including children with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, learning disabilities, developmental delays, and IEPs. My background allows me to recognize where a student may be struggling and provide instruction that is structured, supportive, and responsive to how that child learns best.

Why I Created Eventful Learning Center

I created Eventful Learning Center because many children need more than homework help. They need instruction that begins at the right level, focuses on the skills they have not yet developed, and gives them enough support to experience success.

I wanted to create a welcoming learning environment where young students could receive focused academic support without feeling rushed, overwhelmed, or compared with others. Eventful Learning Center was designed to give families a thoughtful, assessment-based approach to reading and math support.

My Approach

Every student begins with an assessment to identify current strengths and areas of need. Based on those results, I create a personalized learning plan with clear instructional priorities.

Students then receive targeted instruction focused on the skills they need most. Progress is monitored over time so instruction can be adjusted as the student develops.

Assessment → Personalized Learning Plan →

Targeted Instruction → Growth

Who I Support

Eventful Learning Center provides reading and math support for students in grades K–3. Services are designed for children who may be struggling with foundational reading or math skills, working below grade level, needing more practice and repetition, experiencing frustration or low confidence, or benefiting from a smaller and more supportive learning environment.

I also have extensive experience supporting diverse learners, including students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, learning disabilities, developmental delays, and IEPs.
